Thought for the day. The news media is claiming that we should not be fighting in IRAN because polls show only 44% of the people approve.

To put that in perspective, only 40% supported the American Revolution, 20% were loyalist and 40% were neutral/disengaged.

I would say that 40% of patriots is enough to make the right decision.

Is ending birthright citizenship against the 14th amendment? Many would say yes. But, let’s look at it a little closer.

The 14th amendment was established to ensure the children of slaves brought here against their will were considered US citizens.

The amendment states: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

The key part here pertaining to Illegal immigrant’s children is they are not under jurisdiction of the United States. The slaves were considered under the jurisdiction because they were brought here unwillingly. Wording is crucial when looking at amendments and they should not be paraphrased.

It clearly states Born in the US AND under jurisdiction thereof.

Let’s talk about the States removing President Trump from the ballot for being an insurrectionist.

The courts are citing Section 3 of the 14th Amendment which they say gives them the authority to make the decision. Here is what it says.

Section 3 Disqualification from Holding Office
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

However, if you keep reading the 14th Amendment you will find section 5 which says this.

Section 5.

The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.

Section 5 cannot be divorced from Section 3.
This clearly states that Congress is the only body that could enforce Section 3, by appropriate legislation, which they did by passing 18 USC 2383 which states the following:

2383. Rebellion or insurrection
Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

So to make this clear. The President can’t be removed from the Ballot or barred from office unless he is charged under this statute and found guilty and punished by Congress. Any other decision by any judge is false and unconstitutional. To put it simply what if they were trying to remove someone from office for being a murderer? The court can’t decide they are a murderer without them being charged and convicted of murder. Being charged and convicted of robbery still does not make you a murderer.

Let’s share this with those who don’t read the Constitution and just believe the media lies.

Let this sink in. The left considers it racist to require an id to vote. Yet, it is not racist to require a vaccine passport to travel or attend public events. If the vaccine ends up being required, how about adding your vaccine information to a drivers license or state ID that can be obtained at vaccination sites? Now everyone that was forced to get the vaccine now has an ID to vote.

Time to hold our New President to the same standards as the last. We were told to unite. Where are my leftist friends willing to call out these attacks on our Constitution?

It is unconstitutional to enter the Paris climate accord without Senate approval.

Immigration and naturalization laws must originate in the house and be approved, then sent to the senate. DACA laws from the President are unconstitutional.

Shutting down the Keystone pipeline costing many jobs. I thought we didn’t want government controlling private business (remember Facebook and Twitter).
