Job Description

We are looking for multi-talented individual with web designer, analytics and GIS skills to design and maintain a project website which includes an MIS portal. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. S(he) should also have superior user interface design skills. The successful candidate should have designed websites for development oriented projects. The job involves understanding web design, computer programming, data analytics as well as GIS.

Duties

The successful candidate will design the website for the project which incorporates an MIS and GIS portals for the project. Other duties will include:
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off
• Provide support to project staff in updating and maintaining website to ensure functionality
• Develop and maintain an SMS (USSD) service for the project including analyzing and reporting on data monthly
• Upload MIS and GIS data unto the website
• Creating back up files
• Solving code problems

Requirements

The successful candidate should have at least a degree in computer science/technology, website design, graphic design. The candidate should be proficient in
• Databases
• Webpage scripting
• Programming
• Digital imaging
• GIS programming
• Data analytics and visualization
• Multimedia design
• Web development

The candidate should have:

• Proven work experience as a web designer and developer
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Experience in data analytics and visualization
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Experience in GIS and integrating maps into websites and online portals
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Experience in managing SMS/USSD
