Humankind has been blessed by God with the gift of free will, which is the ability to choose. Through each choice we make, we are shaping not only our present but also our eternal future. Our small habits and daily decisions matter far more than we realize; they form our character and shape our habits.

Ellen G. White reminded us: “The thoughts we dwell upon, the choices we make, the habits we form — all have a powerful influence upon our destiny.” (Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 356)

Therefore, it is crucial that we seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all we do. His leading will help us make choices that honor God and align with His will, yielding eternal peace and happiness.

This Sabbath, let’s take a moment to reflect on how we choose to honor God — not only on the seventh day, but in our daily lives. May we surrender ourselves afresh to Him and allow His Spirit to direct our steps.

Have a blessed, restful, and insightful Sabbath in His presence!

The Sabbath is not just a day of rest, but it comes with many blessings for each individual who observes it. Restoration is one of them. Through the blessed hours of the Sabbath, we can commune with our Creator and allow Him to mend what is broken.

What in our life needs restoring?
Ellen G. White reminds us that “the Sabbath is a sign of Christ’s power to make us holy” (The Desire of Ages, p. 288). When we surrender our burdens to Him, He renews our body, mind, and spirit.

This Sabbath, let’s open our hearts to God's healing presence as we await the moment when He will restore the whole world.
