Today, the representatives of the ITWs had a detailed discussion with the Honourable Home Minister Shri Mama Natung and the Honourable MLA, Shri Mutchu Mithi, Advisor to the Home Department, regarding the grievances of the ITWs. The Honourable Home Minister kindly acknowledged our concerns, understood our hardships, and assured us with a firm commitment that our demands will be fulfilled at the earliest.
He further informed us that in the upcoming high-level meeting, representatives from the ITWs will also be invited to present our case.

At the same time, the Honourable Home Minister requested us to kindly resume our duties, as the public has also been facing great difficulties due to our ongoing protest.On behalf of all ITWs, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Arunachal Pradesh who stood with us throughout this struggle, both morally and physically, and even came forward with generous contributions like refreshments. Words are not enough to express our thanks for such immense support.Although our demand has not yet been fully achieved, as disciplined uniformed personnel, we respect the words and commitment of our Honourable Home Minister and Honourable Advisor to Home, and therefore, we have decided to officially call off the indefinite peaceful sit-in protest that began from 15th September at Tennis Court Itanagar.

Lastly, we trust and expect that our genuine demand for the absorption of legitimate 145 ITWs into the Arunachal Pradesh Home Guard will be fulfilled at the earliest.

A sincere thank you once again to the people of Arunachal Pradesh. ❤️

Thank you very much, Sir. We sincerely hope that our demand will be considered and resolved at the earliest possible time.

Met with ITW and discussed their issue. State Govt has in principal cleared their issue but teething technical issues needs to be resolved which the state Govt under HCM Pema Khandu ji & HM Mama Natung ji is committed.
