KALKSPRUIT - An 18-year-old Neo Setena from Kalkspruit in Ga-Maraba,Ga-Mashashane lost her life earlier this week after she was forced into overdosing pills and dumped at the hospital half-naked by a man calling himself a prophet aged between 26-28.

In an interview between family representatives and updates with LolahM, it is reported the prophet claimed to have offered his services to help the teenager girl,as he presumed himself powerful to do everything.

"This prophet approached my niece to offer his services as he claimed he was more than powerful. At first,he used to drug my niece,but on Saturday it was the second time he does that. Unfortunately it was too much,I could say it was an overdose. When my niece was left unconscious, he took and dropped her at the hospital half-naked. He just rolled her with a towel and dropped her at the hospital and gave the nurses the numbers of the people to contact (Family) and he vanished from the scene,unfortunately my niece died", says the family representatives.

The Setena family says this is not the first case to ever occur within their family in the last past days,"this prophet drugged Neo's cousin, who is 14 years of age and caused her to drop out of school to stay with him".

Remarkably, these incidents are reportedly not the first to befall the community as a whole. He added", the prophet targets young school-going children, especially females. He easily manipulate,hypnotise and scare them. We have about more than 5 cases similar to this ones we are facing."

It is claimed the prophet would also encourage school-going children to cohabit (Vat 'n Sit) with him and tell them to change schools. " After you would have changed schools,he will tell you to move in with him. Currently, there are about 10 or more children staying with him".

In addition, the prophet does not only drug the children he stays with, he also abuse them, " well my brother,once he drug these children, he sexually assault them. According to another source, he takes them to the mountains at night to worship something, and as to what that is,we clearly do not know",says the family representative.

As incidents were piling up, and different families continuing facing this outrageous incidents and doing by all means by reporting this matters to the police services, nothing solid tends to come out of this.

"This prophet works with the Police services, Social Workers and some community members. We have tried everything, no help still. I do not know how many cases we have opened and no arrests were made",said the family representatives.

Nonetheless, the Setena family says justice is what they preach and seek as to end this man's illegal doings.
