Happy Father's Day to the Men of the Young Men's Guild!
Today we celebrate and honour the fathers, mentors, leaders, brothers, and role models of the Young Men's Guild of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa.
Thank you for the countless sacrifices you make—giving your time, resources, wisdom, and strength to build not only your families, but also the YMG movement and the Church at large. Many see the events, programmes, and successes, but few see the prayers, long journeys, sleepless nights, and personal sacrifices that make them possible.
In a world that often expects men to be strong without acknowledging their burdens, we salute you. Your strength is not found only in providing, but in loving, leading, praying, serving, and remaining faithful when the road is difficult.
Continue to stand tall and be proud of the calling of fatherhood. Your presence matters. Your guidance shapes generations. Your faith builds homes, and your example points many to Christ.
May God strengthen your hands, encourage your hearts, and bless you abundantly as you continue guiding crossings and not merely maintaining shorelines.
