A legend's journey ends too soon,
Zile leaves behind a memory moon.
Paving paths for many to follow,
Her impact lingers, a heartfelt hollow.

In sorrow, thoughts turn to her name,
Family, friends grieve in loss's flame.
May God's comfort surround them now,
As Zile's legacy begins to glow.

A soldier down, in peaceful rest,
Her contributions touch hearts she's blessed.
In memories of Zile, we find peace,
Rest In Peace, Zile, your mark will release.

In the golden fields of memory, where whispers softly sway,
Lies a cherished friend, now gone, but in our hearts to stay.
Kagisho Milano Moshounyane, a beacon in life's flight,
Guiding us with laughter, through every darkest night.

In the tapestry of friendship, he wove a vibrant thread,
A symphony of kindness in every word he said.
With a smile that danced like sunlight upon a tranquil sea,
He painted joy in hues of love, for all the world to see.

Through valleys deep and mountains high, he walked beside us true,
His spirit strong, his heart aglow, in everything he'd do.
In moments small or grand, his presence like a gentle breeze,
Calming storms, uplifting souls, with effortless ease.

Though now he walks a different path, beyond our mortal sight,
His essence lingers, ever near, in memories shining bright.
For friendships forged in love endure, beyond the bounds of time,
And in our hearts, dear Milano, you'll forever brightly shine.

So let us raise a toast to him, with tears and laughter blend,
For in the tapestry of our lives, he remains a cherished friend.
Though parted by the hands of fate, his spirit, ever nigh,
Kagisho Milano Moshounyane, in our hearts, will never die. Kg Milano Moshounyane πŸ•―

In Bloemfontein, beneath African skies,
Where golden sunsets paint the horizon's rise,
On this October day, in twenty twenty-three,
A tale of a city, I shall set free.

A city of gardens, where flowers dance,
Their petals swaying in a rhythmic trance,
Bloemfontein, you wear a floral crown,
With grace and beauty, you astound.

The Free State's heart, where history's penned,
In every street, a story to lend,
Of battles fought, of dreams pursued,
In Bloemfontein, where hopes renewed.

The hills that guard you, standing tall,
Echoes of voices, a timeless call,
From Naval Hill, the city's gaze,
A panorama, a lover's daze.

The laughter of children in parks at play,
Echoes through neighborhoods, bright as day,
Communities woven, strong and true,
In Bloemfontein, the old and new.

The rivers that flow, a lifeline strong,
A heartbeat steady, a lifelong song,
For Orange and Modder, they tell your tale,
In every ripple, a whispered hail.

The University's spires, they touch the sky,
A beacon of knowledge, reaching high,
In Bloemfontein's halls, minds take flight,
A future shaped, a world made bright.

And on this day, in twenty twenty-three,
We celebrate you, Bloemfontein, with glee,
For all you've been, and are to be,
A city of dreams, forever free.πŸ•΄

In South Africa, on this October morn,
A tale unfolds, a day is born.
Twenty-third of the month, the year twenty-three,
A tapestry woven, for all to see.

Beneath the Southern Cross, stars gleam bright,
Illuminating the African night.
From mountains tall to oceans wide,
A nation's spirit, a boundless tide.

The savannahs whisper, the wind's gentle hum,
Echoes of history, the beat of a drum.
In cities that pulse with vibrant life,
Hope and unity thrive, banishing strife.

The sun paints the horizon in hues of gold,
A promise of stories yet to be told.
In townships and vineyards, on dusty roads,
A spirit resilient, a flame that glows.

Children laugh, their voices like song,
Innocence and dreams, where they belong.
Families gather, hearts intertwined,
Love is the rhythm, the melody, the bind.

On this October day, in twenty-three,
South Africa's spirit forever free.
A land of courage, of strength and grace,
In every soul, a vibrant embrace.

In South Africa, on this October day,
The sky may weep, clouds a somber gray.
But in your heart, remember this, my friend,
The storm will pass, it's not the end.

Though shadows dance and troubles may persist,
Within your soul, a strength does exist.
The sun, though hidden, still glows bright,
It waits to chase away the night.

Embrace the rain, let tears be shed,
For healing comes in tears we've bled.
Each drop that falls, a cleansing grace,
A step towards a brighter space.

In South Africa, where skies may frown,
Hold fast to hope, let it be your crown.
For even in the depths of sorrow's night,
You'll find the strength to see the light.

Remember, friend, you're not alone,
In every heartache, seeds are sown.
They'll bloom into a stronger you,
A testament to all you've been through.

So let the date of twenty-third October stand,
A marker of how you took a stand.
You faced the darkness, felt the weight,
Yet still, you rose, refusing to abate.

In South Africa's embrace, you'll find,
Resilience, strength, and peace of mind.
For even on the gloomiest of days,
There's hope that shines in myriad ways.πŸ•΄

In the heart of South Africa, on this October morn,
A soul feels heavy, weary, forlorn.
The wind whispers tales of days long past,
Yet today's burdens seem too heavy to cast.

The sun hides behind a shroud of gray,
Matching the clouds that won't fade away.
A spirit, once vibrant, now feels so low,
In the depths of despair, it's easy to go.

But hold on, dear soul, for this too shall pass,
The storm will relent, the clouds won't amass.
In the heart of South Africa, where strength runs deep,
There's a wellspring of hope, a promise to keep.

Look to the horizon

23/10/2023

In shadows deep, where sorrows play,
October's eve, a somber display.
A heart weighed down, a spirit worn,
A soul that's weathered, weary, torn.

The leaves they fall, like teardrops shed,
Whispers of dreams, now dormant, dead.
The world outside, a muted hue,
Reflecting the melancholy within, it's true.

But know, dear soul, in this dimmest hour,
There lies within you, a dormant power.
For storms may rage and clouds may loom,
Yet strength emerges from the darkest gloom.

Embrace the ache, let tears be shed,
For healing comes when feelings are bled.
And as the night gives way to morn,
Remember, dear heart, you're not alone.

Tomorrow waits with open arms,
To cradle you in its gentle charms.
So rise, take courage, face the day,
For hope's soft whispers are on their way

If you feel like giving up, read this:

1. This is a Phase.

Tough times are just a phase.
They don't last forever.
Life is a cycle of highs and lows.

Remember, this too shall pass.
You're in the middle of the storm now, but clear skies are ahead. Hold on.

2. You Are Stronger Than You Think.

Never underestimate your resilience.

- You've survived 100% of your bad days.
- Inside you, there is an inner strength.
- Your potential is greater than any problem.

Remember, you're stronger and more capable than you believe.

3. Small Steps Count.

Progress isn't always a leap forward.

Sometimes it's tiny, almost imperceptible steps.

Each step, no matter how small, brings you closer to your goal.

Celebrate every bit of progress. Slow and steady can still win the race. Keep moving forward.

4. Remember Your 'Why'.

Think back to the reasons why you started.

Reconnect with your motivation and your goals.

5. Failure is a Stepping Stone.

It's okay to fall but it's important to rise again.

Every setback brings learning opportunities.

Remember, every great success story involves overcoming obstacles.

Keep going. Your story is being written.

6. Practice Self-Care.

Self-care is essential, especially during tough times.

- Eat nutritious food
- Exercise regularly
- Get adequate sleep
- Connect with loved ones
- Engage in activities that bring joy.

It’s not selfish, it's survival. Your well-being matters.

7. It's Okay to Ask for Help.

Remember, you're not alone in this journey.

- Reach out to friends, family, or professionals
- Open up about your struggles
- Seek support when you need it

Strength isn't just about enduring in silence. It's also knowing when to ask for help.

To my friends and readers,

Fight for yourself. No matter how difficult it becomes, never let yourself give in.

After some time, your spark will eventually return.

You will come out happier, healthier, and wiser.

We are in this together.
