WORK IS A BLESSING

…for a worker is worthy of his food.
Matthew 10:10
When you work you will eat. Work is a blessing not a curse. In the Garden of Eden, the first responsibility that God gave man was to work. You were created to work. You were created to produce.
Sometimes people can fall into a trap of laziness. They make excuses like, “there are no jobs.” If there are no jobs, you can create one. God has made us to be creative beings. There is no need to be idle, if you look hard enough, you can find something to do. You can see a problem you can solve or a need you can meet and that is what entrepreneurs do.
In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty.
Proverbs 14:23
There is a problem out there with your name on it. You were born as a solution to a problem. You can make a difference. Train your mind to think of solutions and solve problems. Use your mind, one of the best advices I have ever got was to work hard with my mind.
So, there are no excuses not to work. You can always find something to do. You can always produce something. Where there is a will, there is a way. You can be fruitful and productive.
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Genesis 1:28
There is always something to do, a service you can offer or a product you can create. Find something to do and work hard at it. Do it with your strength. Put some effort into it, don’t take shortcuts but do your best.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.
Ecclesiastes 9:10
Thought of the day: Work is a blessing.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for an opportunity to work and produce something, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

NO MORE CURSE BUT THE BLESSING
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Galatians 3:13-14
When you are born again, you are redeemed from the curse and the blessing of Abraham has come upon you. Glory to God! When things don’t seem to be working, it does not mean that you are cursed. It just means you need to do the Word. The Word of God is the manual for life, you have to live by the Word; there are no shortcuts.
Many people are looking for blessings, however as a child of God you are already blessed, and no man can curse what God has blessed. You are blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ and the spiritual blessings produce the physical blessings.
Blessed be the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
Ephesians 1:3
You are blessed with the blessings of Abraham. Now you have to work it out and activate the blessing. Put it to work. Live by the Word. Make the Word the standard for your life.
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 2:12
You don’t have to chase after blessings, chase after God the blessings will chase after you. Seek God, walk in His ways and you will abound with blessings. There is no more curse but the blessing.
A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.
Proverbs 28:20
Thought of the day: There is no more curse but the blessing.
Confession: I’m blessed with the blessings of Abraham.

29/03/2025

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He shall teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He shall judge between nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
Isaiah 2:2-5 NKJV

DIRECTING YOUR HEART THROUGH YOUR GIVING
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:21
When your money is in the things of God, your heart will be in the things of God. You can direct heart through your giving. When you give first fruits, pay tithes, give offerings and partner with ministries, you direct your heart to be in the things of God. Your heart will follow your treasure.
We ought to take giving to the kingdom of God seriously, because where our treasure is, there our hearts will be also. We should not serve money, but serve God with our money. Don’t let money dictate whether you can give to God or not. Serve God with your money.
No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Matthew 6:24
First fruits, tithes, offerings and partnering with ministries help the kingdom of God to do well financially. They help to keep God’s work going. When we give to the kingdom of God, we advance the kingdom of God.
There are rewards for giving in God’s kingdom, we definitely reap what we sow, when we build God’s house, God will build our houses. When we make things happen in God’s kingdom, God will make things happen in our lives.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
Galatians 6:7
When we give to the kingdom of God, we honor God with our money, we advance the kingdom of God, and we direct our hearts to be in the kingdom of God.
Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barn will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.
Proverbs 3:9-10
Thought of the day: Where my treasure is, there my heart will be also.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for an opportunity to sow into the kingdom, thank You that I will reap what I sow, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

YOU ARE THE SALT IN YOUR WORLD
You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavour, how shall be it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
Matthew 5:13
You are the salt in your world. One of the benefits of salt is that it preserves. You preserve your world or your sphere of contact. You see if it wasn’t for believers around, things would get totally out of hand, where it would be evil continually. Thankfully, as a believer you influence your world.
You can boldly live a life that pleases God because you preserve your world. If you were not there, things would fall apart. Stand out and distinguish yourself with a godly lifestyle, because people are looking up to you.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:16
Another benefit of salt is that it gives flavour. You add flavour to your world. If it wasn’t for you, things would be dull and boring. Don’t be afraid to be yourself, your unique personality and abilities are needed in this world.
You can make a difference and impact lives in your world. Look around you, meet people’s needs and solve people’s problems. Change your world. You are the difference maker. You can change people’s lives, one person at a time.
You need to preserve and add flavour to this world. Distinguish yourself with character and excellence, the world needs you, you were born for such a time as this.
Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
Isaiah 60:1
Thought of the day: I preserve and add flavour to my world.
Confession: I’m the salt of the earth and I’m born for such a time as this.

YOU ARE SPECIAL TO GOD
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.
1 Peter 2:9
You are special to God. You are a priest and a king to God. He saved you by his grace and washed you in the blood of Jesus. He has made you righteous and blameless before Him.
And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our own sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 1:5-6
You are unique and there is no one quite like you. Only you can do what you do the way that you do it. You do not have to compare yourself with others because you are different.
You are hand crafted and made in God’s image and likeness. You are His masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully made. You are precious and valuable in God’s eyes, when you know your worth, you won’t look down on yourself.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.
Psalm 139:14
God has predestined, called, justified and glorified you. You are hand-picked by God, and you are special to Him. There is no need to fear and no need for self-doubt. Believe that you have what it takes to make it; believe that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
Moreover whom He predestined, these also He called, these also He justified; and whom He justified these He also glorified.
Romans 8:30
Thought of the day: I’m special to God.
Confession: I’m fearfully and wonderfully made.

DAILY BENEFITS
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation!
Psalm 68:19
There are benefits that we can enjoy on a daily basis; this includes both spiritual and material blessings. Spiritual blessings like forgiveness, love, peace and joy, etc. Material blessings like health, provision, honor, life, etc. God daily loads us with benefits.
When you are in need, God wants to provide for you. When you are sick, God wants you to heal you. When you are in trouble, God wants to deliver you. God is a good God and He is out to bless us. It is evident because He gave us His only Son, how will He not with Him also freely give us all things.
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Romans 8:32
No wonder David could boldly say:
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Psalm 23:6
However, take note of what he said in the beginning verse in this particular Psalm.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psalm 23:1
David followed the LORD as his shepherd, consequently, goodness and mercy followed him. Glory to God!
Therefore, we can ensure that God loads us with daily benefits by following Him. When we follow Him, goodness and mercy follow us. When you start out your day with God, you can follow Him throughout the day, and you will begin to enjoy your life because He will load you daily with benefits.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy, I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10
Thought of the day: The Lord loads me daily with benefits.
Confession: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.

HAVE A VISION
Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write down the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”
Habakkuk 2:2
When you get into your car and drive, you have to know exactly where you are going in order to know which route to take. Having a vision and writing it down is the same, you know exactly where you are going so you know which route to take in life. When you know where you are going, you will know how to get there.
You know what is necessary and what you need to get rid of, all because of the vision you have written down. You know what it will take and the sacrifices you need to make in order to accomplish your vision.
A vision gives you hope and a sense of direction. It gives you discipline. You know that you are going somewhere. You know that your best days are ahead of you and the best is yet to come. You have something to look forward to because of your vision.
Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established.
Proverbs 16:3
When you have a vision and have written it down, commit it to God. Pray for your vision because you need God’s help to accomplish your vision. You need to have a big vision for your life so that God can get involved in it. You need a vision that is big enough for God to work in your life.
When you have a vision and you have written it down and committed it to God, pursue it. Start small but think big. You don’t have to start big but you can think big about your future. Don’t despise small beginnings.
Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.
Job 8:7
Thought of the day: My vision gives me hope and a sense of direction.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that I can accomplish my vision because nothing is impossible to him who believes, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

HUMBLE PEOPLE PRAY
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
Our opening Scripture clearly states that if God’s people who are called by His name will humble themselves and pray. Humble people pray. Prayerful people are humble people.
Proud people don’t pray because they think that they don’t have to. They fail to realize how much they need God. However, Jesus said that without Him we can do nothing.
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
John 15:5
I submit to you that the first sign of humility is prayer. When you humble yourself before God in prayer, in due season, He will exalt you. When you humble yourself before God in prayer, you will also humble yourself before others.
Likewise you younger people, submit to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.
1 Peter 5:5-6
Humility is one of the highest laws in the kingdom of God. God gives grace and wisdom to humble people. Promotion doesn’t come from the east or the west but from above. Promotion, exaltation and honor come to humble people.
Things work differently in the kingdom of God than in the world. The least and the servant of all is the greatest. The lowly and the humble will be honored. Truly the way up is the way down.
Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
James 4:10
Thought of the day: Humble people pray.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for teaching me humility, thank You for the privilege of prayer that You have given me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
