Bafana Bafana Unveil Final Squad for CAF CHAN 2025 Showdown!

The wait is over! Bafana Bafana have officially named their final 28-man squad for the CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) set to take place this August 2025. The squad features a strong mix of experience, flair, and hunger — ready to make South Africa proud on the continental stage.

Headlining the squad are Keagan Dolly, Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo, and Zakhele Lepasa, joined by rising stars like Neo Maema, Ntando Nkosi, and Thabiso Kutumela. Unattached players dominate the list, showing hunger and grit to prove themselves on the big stage.

Representatives from clubs like Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United, TUKS FC, Chippa United, and Leicesterford FC bring a tactical balance across the park. Notably, Gomoro United’s Momelezi Dlambeewu gets a nod after a stellar domestic run.

The world of professional wrestling is in mourning as Hulk Hogan, one of the most iconic figures in sports entertainment history, has passed away at the age of 71.

Hogan, known for his charisma, trademark mustache, and unmatched energy, was a global phenomenon from WrestleMania main events to Hollywood cameos. For decades, he inspired millions with his signature catchphrase, “Whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you?”

Former WWE superstar Kane paid tribute with heartfelt words:
“Hulk Hogan was a true legend. I was fortunate to work with him a couple of times, including this memorable one. It was easy to do a Hulkster impersonation when, like millions of guys my age, I'd practiced it in the mirror a thousand times growing up.”

Hogan leaves behind a legacy that transcends generations — a true pioneer of modern wrestling who brought the sport into the mainstream.

In a quick but loaded Zoom session, Cheetahs legend and now director of rugby, Frans Steyn, didn’t hold back his feelings ahead of their crucial Currie Cup clash against Boland. With honesty rare in modern sports, Steyn admitted that stress levels are up, especially after Boland's 45-29 triumph over the Cheetahs in this year’s SA Cup.

“I don’t like stress,” Steyn said with a chuckle – but it’s clear that the pressure is real.

Alongside him was the ever-composed Captain Sekete, who struck a confident tone.

“We know Boland. This time, it’s all about ex*****on. We’re focused,” Sekete declared.

The message from the Cheetahs camp? No panic, just purpose.

Despite keeping their full game plan under wraps, the body language spoke volumes – they're coming to Wellington for redemption.
