Burn injuries can vary from minor to severe, and proper wound management is essential to support healing and reduce the risk of infection, scarring and other complications. ❤️‍🩹

🌸 When should a burn be assessed?

Seek professional medical advice if the burn:

🔸 Is deep, extensive or worsening
🔸 Has large or increasing blisters
🔸 Is producing increasing drainage or has an unpleasant odour
🔸 Is becoming increasingly red, swollen or painful
🔸 Shows signs of infection
🔸 Is not healing as expected
🔸 Involves the face, hands, feet, joints or ge***al area
🔸 Was caused by chemicals or electricity
