MEET MILLICENT MAFOLO: A YOUNG WOMAN DRIVEN BY PURPOSE, EMPOWERMENT AND CHANGE
Millicent Mafolo, 24, is an aspiring model from Motlolo Village in Burgersfort, Limpopo, whose journey is driven by confidence, resilience, compassion and a deep desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Millicent holds a qualification in Financial Management and is currently gaining valuable practical experience as a Finance Intern. Through her professional journey, she continues to strengthen her skills and expand her knowledge while pursuing her passion for community development and youth empowerment.
Beyond her career, Millicent is passionate about youth empowerment, mental health awareness and environmental sustainability. She is also the founder of the Bophelo Youth and Environmental Foundation, a platform dedicated to empowering young people, raising awareness about issues affecting communities and encouraging people to take greater responsibility for the environment.
HER GOALS
Millicent’s aspirations extend beyond her professional career and modelling journey. Her goal is to grow personally and professionally while using her platform and experiences to create meaningful change.
She hopes to inspire young people to believe in themselves, speak openly about issues affecting their lives and understand that their background does not determine their future.
She is equally committed to growing the Bophelo Youth and Environmental Foundation and reaching more young people and communities. Millicent believes that empowering the younger generation and protecting their mental wellbeing must go hand in hand with protecting the environment.

Millicent joined Miss Sekhukhune District 2027 because she sees the platform as an opportunity to grow, represent her community and use her voice for something meaningful.

Coming from Motlolo Village in Burgersfort, Millicent is proud of her roots and hopes her journey will inspire other young people from her community to dream bigger, pursue their goals and create opportunities for themselves.
With her background in Financial Management, passion for modelling, commitment to youth empowerment and dedication to environmental sustainability, Millicent is stepping into the Miss Sekhukhune District 2027 journey with a clear sense of purpose.
