BHAGAVAD GITA: As it is

THE SETTING: prt 6

Although widely published and read itself, Bhagavad-Gita, originally appears as an episode in the, Mahabharata, the epic Sanskrit history of the ancient world. The, Mahabharata, tells of events leading up to the present Age of Kali. It was at the beginning of this Age, some fifty centuries ago, that, “Lord Krsna”, spoke the, Bhagavad-Gita, to His friends and devotee Arjuna..

Their discourse, one of the greatest philosophical and religious dialogues known to man, took place just before the onset of war, a great fratricidal conflict between hundred sons of, Dhrtarastra, and on the opposing side their cousins the, Pandavas, or sons of, Pandu. Dhrtarastra, and, Pandu, were brothers born in the, Kuru Dynasty, descending from, King Bharata, a former ruler of Earth, from whom the name, Mahabharata, derives. Because, Dhrtarastra, the elder brother, was born blind, the throne that otherwise would have been his was passed down to the younger brother, Pandu. When, Pandu, died at an early age, his five children, Yudhisthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula, and, Sahadeva, came under thee care of, Dhrtarastra, who in effect became, for the time being, the King. Thus the sons of, Dhrtarastra, and those, Pandu, grew up in the same royal household. Both were trained in the military arts by the expert, Drona, and counceled by the revered, “Grandfather”, of the clan, Bhisma. Yet the sons of, Dhrtarastra, especially the eldest, Duryodhana, hated and envied the, Pandavas. And the blind and weak-minded, Drtarastra, wanted his own sons, not those of, Pandu, to inherit the Kingdom. Thus, Duryodhana, with, Dhrtarastra, consent, plotted to kill the sons of, Pandu, and it was only by the careful protection of the uncle, Vidura, and their cousin, “Lord Krsna”, that the, Pandavas, escaped the many attempts against their lives. Now, “Lord Krsna”, was not an ordinary man but the Supreme Godhead Himself, who had descended to Earth and was playing the role of a Prince in a contemporary dynasty. In this role He was also the nephew of, Pandu’s, wife, Kunti, or, Prtha, the Mother of the, Pandavas. So both as a relative and as the Eternal Upholder of Religion, “Krsna”, favoured the righteous sons of, Pandu, and protected them. Ultimately, however, the clever, Duryodhana, challenged the, Pandavas, to a gambling match. In the course of the fateful tournament, Duryodhana, and his brothers took possession of, Draupadi, the chaste and devoted wife of the, Pandavas, and insultingly tried to strip her naked before the entire assembly of Princes and Kings. “Krsna’s”, Divine intervention saved her, but the gambling, which was rigged, cheated the, Pandavas, of their Kingdom and forced them into thirteen years of exile. Upon returning from exile, the, Pandavas, rightfully requested their Kingdom from, Duryodhana, who bluntly refused to yield it. Duty-bound as Prince to serve in public administration, the five, Pandavas, reduced their request to a mere five villages. But, Duryodhana, arrogantly replied that he wouldn’t spare them enough land into which to drive a pin. Throughout all this, the, Pandavas, had been consistently tolerant and forbearing. But, now war seemed inevitable. Nonetheless, as the Princes of the World divided, some siding with the sons of, Dhrtarastra, others with the, Pandavas, “Krsna”, Himself took the role of messenger for the sons of, Pandu, and went to the court of, Dhrtarastra, to plead for Peace. When His plea was refused, war was now certain. The, Pandavas, men of the highest moral stature, recongized, “Krsna”, to be the Supreme Personality of Godhead, whereas the impious sons of, Dhrtarastra, did not. Yet, “Krsna”, offered to enter the war according to the desire of the antagonists. As God, He would not personally fight; But whoever so desired might avail Himself of, “Krsna’s Army”, and the other side could have, “Krsna”, Himself, as an advisor and helper. Duryodhana, the political genius, snatched, “Krsna’s”, armed forces, while the, Pandavas, were equally eager to have, “Krsna”, Himself. In this way, “Krsna”, became the charioteer of, Arjuna, taking it upon Himself to drive the fabled bowman’s chariot. This brings us to the point at which the, Bhagavad-Gita, begins, with the two armies arrayed, ready for combat, and, Dhrtarastra, anxiously inquiring of his secretary, Sanjaya, ‘What did they do?’

So, again, let's say, that a plant needed, or required help, or assistance for it to be watered, it would only, of course, again, be easily to acknowledge that it is due to the very existing notion of duality, or divide, or, again, even within regards to the very existing notion of separation that it's, again, able to receive, or even come to embrace this very existing notion of help, or assistance through it being watered by someone else, whether it may be that from a individual, or from that of the Earth's Natural cycle of creatively producing the very existing notion of rain. When, again, how would this very plant be able to water itself if it is, again, just simply unable, or even incapable of doing so without the help, or even assistance from someone else, whether it might, again, be from a individual, or even from the Earth, itself, as a creatively produced form of a living being? Which would also, then, of course, only be clearly indicating that not has this very plant become reliant on, let's say, a individual for it to be watered when it is needed, or even required, but they, too, thus, again, notice the very existing notion of non-duality, or Oneness, or Union within what has come to be said by stating the very word of, "They", instead of this very plant, where within this what is about to be said is also, then, easily able to be directed towards not only towards that from a plant, but also towards that from a individual, have also come to be reliant on the very existing notion of duality, or divide, or even on the very existing notion of separation to be able to receive, or even embrace this very existing notion of help, or even assistance for it to be watered as well. So, let's say, there was a child that came to be so reliant on the parent to be fed, would this very child ever be able to eat by itself, as a creatively produced form of a living being, if it were to just simply be constantly and continuously fed by the very parent which has also come to constantly and continuously help, or even assist the child to be able to eat? Whereby, again, if the child were to be only dependant on the very existing notion that is duality, or divide, or even on the very existing notion of separation to be able to receive, or even embrace the help, or even assistance from another to be able to be fed by another, where, let's say, if they came to be reliant on a ant to be fed? Would, "They", as in anyone, regardless, of whoever they are, not come to endure the very existing notion of suffering through, themselves, as creatively produced form of living beings, being dependant on a ant to be able to help, or even assist them so that they're able to be fed? And, if so, then, this would also, then, only be clearly indicating that, even though, a individual is able to receive, or even embrace the very existing notion of help, or even assistance from that of another, regardless, of whoever they've come to be, whether it may be that from that of a plant, or insect, bird, or fish, animal, or even from that of another individual. They should, or even must never become solely dependant, or even reliant on the very help, or, again, even on the very assistance that they're able to receive, or even embrace through the very existing notion of duality, or divide, or from the very existing notion of separation. Where, again, a child should, or even must learn to eat by themselves, as individual's, for them to be able to feed themselves, as individual's, by helping, or even assisting themselves, as individual's, to be able to eat. Now, of course, this could very well be directed towards the very existing notion of non-duality, or Oneness, or Union, but it is also through this very existing notion of non-duality, or Oneness, or Union that the, "I", and, "I", become One, it is, again, where there is no difference between the plant, and the individual. So, if it's, again, the individual that needs, or even requires to learn to eat by themselves, as a creatively produced form of a living being, then, it, too, is also, then, every single living being which also, then, needs, or even requires to learn to eat by themselves, as creatively produced form of living beings, as well. And, if, "They", as in all of them, thus, everyone, should, or even must learn this to be able to help, or even assist themselves, regardless, of whoever they've come to be, to be able to eat, then, it, too, is also, then, everyone that should, or even must learn this to also, then, be able to help, or even assist everyone, regardless, of whoever, "They", have come to be, to be able to eat too. TINCTURES:

A very brief History lesson on Herbal Tinctures:
OK, so, with ancient traditional Chinese medicines dating the use of, Cannabis Tinctures, being used as far back as 2700BC (Before Christ), and with the Ayurvedic texts such as from that of the, Charaka Samhita, and, Sushruta", dating back as far as the, 1st century CE, and, 7th century CE (Christian Era), from India.
