For the past 3 years, everything I own has fit into one backpack. No storage, no extra boxes, just one bag with all my stuff while I travel full-time.

It took a little while to get used to it. At first, I worried about what I’d need, what I might forget, or how I’d manage without a “just-in-case” pile. But over time, I found that having less actually makes life easier.

Some of my favorite tricks that make traveling light surprisingly simple:
A little item that doubles as a mini-fridge for cheese and butter
A hotel hack with an expired card to keep your electricity running
How I keep vital documents, backup IDs, and bank cards safe and easy to reach

I also realized it’s not just about what you carry—it’s about what you don’t. Quick-dry clothes, multi-use items, and carrying only what you really need has changed the way I travel and even how I think about “stuff” in general.

I’d love to hear your thoughts, experiences, or any hacks you’ve discovered along the way.
