A DECADE OF YOU!
It’s still so weird to me that you are already 10. I remember the day I found out about you. It felt like my whole life suddenly had direction. I didn’t know who you’d be yet, but you stopped me in my tracks and changed the whole trajectory of my life for the better. God knew I needed you & I’m so grateful that YOU were the one to make me a mother.
You’re 10 today, and somehow you’ve become this gentle, soft-hearted, understanding boy who makes the whole world feel lighter. You’re witty, you’re respectful, you’re kind, you’re humble and you have this quiet way of making people feel safe around you. That’s a gift, my boy and I cannot thank God enough for the qualities you posses 🙏
I had to search for pictures because you don’t love taking them anymore (apparently it give you the ICK 😂) and honestly it made me emotional going through the years. I remember every single one of them as if it happened yesterday. Every photo is a reminder of how fast time has moved, how much you’ve grown, and how lucky I’ve been to witness all of it.
You know what I always tell you & your sisters. “I love you with the same intensity of the contractions that brought you to me”
But between you and me… your labour was the longest out of all three.
So just know, my boy, that’s A LOT of love 😂❤️
Leaton, you are my heart! Everyone knows you are MY CHILD, Lol. Thank you for teaching me how to be patient, how to LOVE unconditionally and how to slow down. Being your mom has been the most unexpected blessing and I’m grateful every. single. day.
