On 7 September 2026, the world marked a year since the canonisation of St Carlo Acutis, the first millennial saint. Known for his holiness, computer skills and passion for the Holy Eucharist, St Carlo Acutis, 'God's influencer', used his skills to create a website that showcased and promoted the Eucharistic miracles. The Far East Rand Catholic News was privileged to speak with his mother at Monastero San Giuseppe in Assisi. During the conversation, Mrs Antonia Salzano Acutis reflected on his canonisation, continuing the work her son started and shared her message to young people regarding making time for God in the age of social media.🙏
