We want everything to be perfect before we put it out. Everything we create has to be better than the last, otherwise we won’t release it.

That’s our problem.

Yes, most of the time our creations are better for this reason, but JHB artists are living off their art because they are releasing it.

Stop holding onto your work.

Music sounds different to how it feels.

With video, a whole new channel of delivery is opened.

Some songs have a whole new life after a music video is out.

I’m testing this theory soon with a 3 year old song that is still popular but has never had a video.

Even with your cellphone, you can shoot reels for old songs and then link to the YouTube and get paid for existing work.

Just make as much video content as you can, regardless of how old you may think a song is.
