We love being a part of our vibrant community! Pinkie's CHOW Community Food Drives contributing to the local culture and connecting with our neighbors is an honor.

Pinkie’s CHOW began as a heartfelt initiative inspired by the legacy of our grandparents, Achmat (Aggies) and Gadija Galant who lovingly prepared meals for As-Shaheed Imam Abdullah Haron. At the same time, he ventured into the townships with the Galant boys, one of whom was Abduraghman Galant—affectionately known as Pinkie.
The family’s roots run deep in Claremont, where these acts of kindness started, and the feeding scheme continues to be a community-driven effort today. What began as a simple way of providing meals to those in need now serves to honor a legacy that touches countless lives.
Every R100 donation helps us spread love and kindness.

Happy 5th Birthday, Ismah - Our Youngest Team Member.

Today we celebrate the tiniest but mightiest member of the Pinkie Chows team – our beloved Lolla, Ismah!

At just 5 years old, she’s already making waves and walking proudly in the footsteps of her late Pa, Hajji Abduraghman "Pinkie" Galant. Whether she's helping hand out food, brightening up our events with her smiles, or dressing up in her daily princess gowns, Ismah reminds us that legacy lives on through love, service, and a generous heart.

She says the best part of her day is handing out food at Pinkie's CHOW Community Food Drives – and we couldn’t be prouder to have her spirit and sparkle with us.

Wishing our young queen a magical birthday filled with Frozen cakes, cousins, and cuddles!
