🚨💔🔥 **TRAGIC FIRE CLAIMS LIVES OF MOTHER AND SON IN VREDENBURG** 🔥💔🚨

**Gail (38)** and her 4-year-old son **Junior** have died in a devastating fire.

The fire broke out in the shack they were living in at around **11:44** in the afternoon.

Neighbours tried to help but were unable to get them out in time. The entire structure burned down completely.

Gail’s neighbours have expressed deep sorrow over this heartbreaking loss.

The incident took place in **Vredenburg** on **Solomon Williams Street**.

When Lisakhanya Mabelu discovered that children in Mdantsane had no meals waiting at home during the school holidays, the 24-year-old put her catering work on hold and started cooking for the less fortunate children.

She began with food from her own home. Today, her initiative reaches more than 150 children each week.

When she asked why, she discovered that there was no meal waiting for them at home. With schools closed, children who depended on school meals had lost an important source of food.

At the time, Mabelu had planned to focus on earning an income through event catering. Instead, she decided to use her cooking skills to support families in her neighbourhood.
