There is nothing like Franco Scribante Racing’s purpose built HillClimb Car and no other car sounds like this.

When I heard the ‘Sheriff’ was in town for the MD Motorsport Time Attack I knew Cape Town would be in for a treat.

We only see this car at HillClimbs and man did Cape Town love having the team back for this race.

You can hear this beast from any part of the track.

Franco and Team won their class with a time of 50.55 seconds

I’d love the team to come and race Sports and GT here, the fans absolutely loved seeing the team & we are here for more of it.

It’s race weekend!

This weekend we head to Gqeberha for Rounds 4 & 5 of the Southern African Endurance Series South African Endurance Series at Aldo Scribante Raceway.

Testing time has been limited since our last outing, but we’ve put a lot of work into the car and made a number of changes that we’re hoping will move us in the right direction this weekend.

I seriously cannot wait to get back behind the wheel, and even more so to race in front of the Gqeberha crowd again.

Time to see what we’ve got. Let’s do this!

The Lotus Exige has a Ferrari engine, it’s literally pocket rocket 🚀

Nian Du Toit Racing kept his King of Killarney title from last years MD Motorsport Time Attack, his final time was 48.381 seconds.

Love seeing this car on track and love the sounds, I was standing on the main straight and I could hear this car on the back straight, hope I managed to capture some of that sound for you.

I couldn’t wait to see Nian Du Toit Racing Ravenol Turbo BMW

Nian was the defending champion of the MD Motorsport Time Attack with this beast, unfortunately when he was about to do the last run, the propshaft broke

Luckily I was able to catch this monster of a car before that happened.

You can stand anywhere on track and hear this beast!
