RE: REPORT OF CHILD ABUSE AND EXPOSURE TO INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT β CHRISTABLE NYAMANHINDI (AGED UNDER 3 YEARS)
I am writing to report a disturbing video that has been circulated on social media, posted by Gilbert Nyamanhindi and Joyce Manyara, which features their daughter, Christable Nyamanhindi, who is believed to be under the age of three.
The content of the video is highly inappropriate for a child of this age and raises serious concerns regarding the emotional and psychological welfare of Christable. The behaviour displayed in the video, as well as the manner in which the parents appear to be enjoying or encouraging the use of vulgar or offensive language, clearly indicates gross negligence and failure to safeguard the wellbeing of the child.
This report comes in the context of ongoing public controversy surrounding Mr Gilbert Nyamanhindi, which has included allegations of infidelity and further social media disputes. However, this concern is specifically about the rights and protection of the minor child, and I am requesting immediate investigation and action to protect her from continued exposure and harm.
In accordance with Zimbabwe's Childrenβs Act [Chapter 5:06], and Section 81 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, every child has the right to be protected from abuse, neglect, and harmful social environments. What has been posted clearly violates this legal protection.
Request for Action:
That an investigation be launched into the conduct of Gilbert Nyamanhindi and Joyce Manyara regarding the wellbeing of Christable Nyamanhindi.
That the video be taken down and any further circulation be prevented.
That the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare β through the Department of Child Welfare β be notified for immediate child protection intervention.
That relevant legal action be considered against the parents for violation of the childβs rights and protection laws.
This is an urgent child protection matter. Please treat it with the seriousness it deserves.
Yours sincerely,
