The 5th Mulher Forte African Literature Awards, Botswana 2025.
We are a bit delayed with these feel good news.
Last week we flew to Botswana for the 5th Mulher Forte African Literature Awards. Myself, Tracey-Lynne Isaacs and Michael Koopman were blessed to represent Shofar Books. It was such a privilege to be amongst authors from other countries.

It was also a honour to be the keynote speaker. Talking about the power of literature.

All our authors are GEMS but we had to select 11 nominees.

We returned and arrived safely in South Africa. We brought the trophies with us and we will do the handover on the 25th of July in Cape Town... another reason to celebrate our work.
