Based in Cape Town, Janine epitomises breaking the mould and embracing life to its fullest. With her cyan coloured hair and love of nature, she is the proverbial water woman who always chooses imagination over practical; beauty over perfection. If she could, Janine would live in the sea, where she can express herself creatively and freely.

Graduating with an honours degree (cum laude, actually) in Jewellery Design from Stellenbosch University, having travelled the world foraging for the perfect gems and being inspired by the small in between moments in life, it’s safe to say Janine knows her way around a design and a jewellery workshop. You will not only learn when you sign up for one of her classes, but you will have the experience of a lifetime.

She is passionate about designing and creating custom jewellery and has an innate ability to tap into your personal style, creating one-of-a-kind treasures that not only hit the brief head on but leave you with a story to tell for generations.

Her impeccable workmanship and annually released capsule range for the last 22 years have established her reputation as one of South Africa’s leading studio creatives, and an industry leader.
