A week on the Orange River 🚣🏼‍♂️ I can’t remember the last time I had no reception and was forced to shut off. I had mixed emotions going in, not being able to work but it’s exactly what I needed. My mind is clear for the first time in a while and I am ready to go all out till the end of the year. There are some amazing things in the pipeline which I can’t wait to share. Incredibly grateful that I get to do this for “work”.

My vision for this is big. So it’s time to get back to work ❤️

Nigel Owens has sent a Strong Warning to World Rugby.🧐

As of the 1st of July teams will no longer be allowed to call a scrum from a free-kick. This has received plenty of backlash because teams with a weaker scrum can simply give away a free-kick at scrum time and not have to scrum. Nigel Owens has struck back saying that rugby is a game made for all shapes and sizes and that we have to ensure that the scrum remains an integral part of the game. If it’s not, then we are going to lose these players and damage the game itself.

World rugby argues that less scrums means more attacking opportunities but Nigel Owens disagrees. In a scrum there are 16 players on the field that are condensed into a small area of space, giving the backline more space than they have at any other point in the game.
