This is a multi-layered photograph I took in the forests of Constantia, Cape Town. I love trees and forests. They tell a clear story about the passing of the seasons. SOFT IS THE NIGHT

This is a photograph taken at Boulders Beach in Cape Town. The moments of beauty at sunset can be fleeting and unpredictable. It was an overcast day and I did not expect the sun to appear. Just as I was about to give up, the sun caressed the clouds and the beach. Then it disappeared.

REMAINS OF THE STORM
Yzerfontein, Western Coast, South Africa.

In July this year, a large storm hit the coastline while I was at in Yserfontein. I managed to get my camera out during a break in the weather. It was cold and windy. The waves had whipped up large drifts of foam that glinted in the fading light. The contrast between the dark hard rocks and the soft, creamy remains captured the tumult of the weather that day.

I am an avid photographer and painter.
