This Christmas, we remember that every kidney tells a story.
A story of resilience, patience, and quiet strength.

To those living with kidney disease, to caregivers who love faithfully, and to families who carry hope through uncertainty — you are seen.

May this season remind you that even in waiting, healing is still happening.
Even in weakness, grace is present.
And even when the body is tired, hope can still be renewed.

We pray for rest where there is exhaustion,
peace where there is fear,
and comfort in every step of the journey.

This Christmas, may your heart be full, your spirit lifted,
and may you know you are never walking alone.

🎄💙

Every year, Cape Kidney steps in to support kidney patients in need.
In 2024 alone, we donated 300 nutritious food parcels to patients across hospitals in the Western Cape — bringing hope, dignity, and practical support where it’s needed most.
This Christmas, you can be a gift to someone else.

Each food parcel or gift card costs Cape Kidney approximately R200, but to a patient and their family, it means so much more than a meal — it’s care, kindness, and relief.

Why not make someone else’s Christmas a special one?
Consider donating and help us continue making a real difference.

A Massive Thank You to the Bellville running club members,Eugene Jackson ,Theo Steenkamp ,Bianca,Johnandie and Paul!

Cape Kidney Association would like to thank the amazing running team who went the extra km’s-literally! Thanks to your dedication and generosity, you’ve helped us raise an incredible R97,000 toward our goal of R100,000! 👏

Our campaign aims to support kidney patients who are struggling financially, emotionally, and mentally, and this milestone brings us one step closer to making a real difference.

We still need your help to reach (and surpass!) our R100,000 goal. Every donation counts — especially as we move toward the “Januworry” season, when many families face financial strain and food insecurity is at an all-time high.

Let’s keep the momentum going and continue supporting those who need it most.

On your marks, get set… oh wait! The Cape Town Marathon was cancelled!

Our runners were ready, excited, and looking forward to showcasing their hard work and passion — all in support of Cape Kidney. Unfortunately, the Cape Doctor had other plans, and strong winds forced the event to be called off.

To all our incredible runners: thank you for your dedication, preparation, and generous spirit. Your commitment to raising funds for Cape Kidney inspires us all.

Even though the race didn’t go ahead, your kindness and bravery shine brighter than any medal. We salute you!
