Join me for an empowering session to transform your relationship with imposter syndrome. I will unpack why your brain uses self-doubt as a protective signal and how to decode these internal alerts with deep self-compassion. Rather than spending endless energy trying to "fix" imposter syndrome, we will explore how to reframe it as a vital tool for personal and professional growth. Using practical narrative therapy techniques, you will learn to unhook from self-doubt and step confidently into taking up space.

"Ask the Expert" is a special live event series found only on Insight Timer , hosted by different experts speaking to today's most relevant topics in wellness. Join us live to learn something new and take part in the community discussion.

Transitioning out of a succesful twenty-year clinical career to start over wasn't easy. Walking away from what you've always known to build something completely new can feel terrifying. But pivoting doesn't mean you're starting from scratch, and it certainly doesn't mean you're screwed. It means you are betting on the resilience you've been building your entire life.

For an entire year in second grade, someone decided I had a "cognitive problem" because of a stutter. But Mrs. Denuys looked past the label, believed in what I was capable of, and pretty much changed the trajectory of my life.

Fast-forward thirty years, and I walked back into that same library. The one that safely held me through primary school, to receive my first independent consulting contract in one of many new career paths I am building for myself.

Because you can do and be more than one thing in this life.

To any woman standing at the foot of a terrifying pivot: You are capable of doing hard things. TRUST ME.

Nothing new to see here folks, just another South African breaking world records for speaking English. 🇿🇦🗣️

Working internationally brings a funny realisation: the moment you open your mouth, people start measuring your intelligence by the sound of your accent.

Bias around how we look, sound, or show up in global spaces is real, but it will never be a reason to shrink.

To every professional navigating international spaces, corporate rooms, or new tables across the globe: keep speaking up, keep owning your expertise, and keep taking up space until you find a seat that fits.

Holding space for self-care means showing up for yourself. Imperfect moments, terrible shoe choices, and all. Taking myself out anyway.

I feel so deeply for anyone struggling in their 20's. It's a really difficult time!

There's so much to figure out and also so much fear about the future. So here's what your favourite Internet Auntie (that's me, obvs) wants you to know:

Your 20's is a time for TRYING THINGS.
Not perfecting things.

I know you all are under so much pressure. My love for you runs deep because you don't even realise how special you are!

You don't know everything. None of us do.

Step into your independence with more grace towards yourself and take the lessons with humility.

If I told you the absolute nonsense crazy stuff I did in my 20's, we would run out of data. Let's not do that to . Or ourselves.

Shine high my young chicken. I'm rooting for you.

Always 🧡
