A Weekend to Be Still
This week didn't quite go according to plan… and perhaps that's okay. 🤍
Sometimes God reminds us that progress isn't always measured by how much we accomplish. Sometimes progress looks like resting, recovering, reflecting and trusting.
So this weekend, the sewing machine can stay quiet. 🪡
There will be time for cutting fabric, stitching seams and bringing Olive Grace to life.
For now, there is coffee to sip ☕, a Bible to open 📖, a fluffy white companion to cuddle 🐾 and a heart that needs a little time to simply be still.
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Psalm 46:10
The dream isn't going anywhere.
Maybe even in the quiet moments, something beautiful is still being stitched together. 🌱
Rest well this weekend, friends. Monday we begin again.

A little pause behind the stitches today… 🤍
This maker has been knocked flat by the flu, so the sewing machine is a little quieter than planned. 🪡🌿
But the dream hasn't stopped.
The fabric is waiting.
The patterns are ready.
The ideas are still growing.
Sometimes building something beautiful also means knowing when to rest.
I'll be back behind the machine soon — and Olive Grace will be waiting for me. 🌿

Hello, Weekend!
What a week it has been. 🤍
A new name.
A renewed vision.
Patterns ready.
Fabric waiting.
And a dream that is becoming more real with every little step.
This weekend, it's time to slow down, breathe deeply... and then get those hands creating. 🪡
There is something incredibly exciting about looking at a piece of fabric and knowing that soon, it will become the very first piece in The Mustard Stitch story.
Small beginnings don't frighten me anymore.
Because sometimes all you need is faith the size of a mustard seed... and the courage to make the first stitch. 🌱
Here's to a weekend of creating, experimenting, learning and hopefully watching Prototype No. 001 begin to come alive.
Rest. Refresh. Rejoice. And then... create.

Today wasn't about sewing.
It was about preparing.
Every pattern piece was carefully drawn. Every tool found its place. Every fabric folded with purpose.
A beautiful creation doesn't begin when the first stitch is sewn.
It begins when you're willing to prepare well.
Today, Grace & Thread became a little more real.
Tomorrow... Prototype No. 001 begins.

The Perfect Fabric
Today the dream became something I could hold in my hands.
After weeks of planning, sketching and praying, I finally chose the fabrics for the very first Grace & Thread collection.
Running my hands across each piece, I could already imagine the bags they would become.
Every fabric tells part of the story.
Every stitch will carry purpose.
This is only the beginning.

Today wasn't about sewing.
Today was about searching.
Running my hands over beautiful fabrics. Holding colours up to the light. Wondering which one will one day become someone's favourite Bible tote.
Every choice matters.
The texture. The colour. The quality.
Because every piece we create is designed to accompany someone through Sunday mornings, Bible studies, quiet moments with God, and seasons of life they'll never forget.
Grace & Thread is built on the belief that beautiful things take time, and the best creations begin long before the first stitch is sewn.
