It's so crazy, I read this story a while ago, about a lady in North America, going through coercive abuse from her ex-boyfriend.

One of the tactics that her partner would use, was to harrass her into doing things or blocking her rights and then text her a normal sounding text, but swopping the roles of what had happened.

So that whenever she tried to fight back legally, the messages sounded normal, but the evidence would be duplicated, confusing, and impossible for a state attorney to work through in limited time.

He also had people follow her, harrass her in various places, monitor every place she lived or worked, every new relationship or friendship and just continue the abuse in his absence.
And because of his influence no one spoke up...
This isn't even a movie, it was a real situation.

This women eventually left her country and changed her name and identity, which according to statistics many, many woman have to do, not just from physical abuse, but coercive control...
that people can't easily identify and the victim suffers silently.

When your life is aligned and you function well, people see in you the beauty everywhere that they couldn't see before.

And it takes alot to destroy that picture to keep you down.
