Glenda Slade has been involved in the communication world for most of her life.
After leaving the theatre, she was a presenter on Radio Port Natal in Durban and the English Service in Johannesburg and Durban. (She read the news on Radio Port Natal for over 5 years).
After spending some years on The Daily News Durban Newspaper, Glenda moved to Johannesburg TV and worked on programmes such as Police File, children’s programmes and the very first magazine programme produced by SABC 3 called Sunbeams and Cucumbers.
After leaving the SABC, she continued to train in voice, speech and presentation skills to a variety of companies around South Africa.
Glenda continues to train, and now also does voice over work. She records adverts for companies, company notices to place on their switchboards. She reads and records books for audio listening, and also reads for Tape Aids for the Blind.
