Not sure how appropriate it is to share my personal thoughts but … when I first learnt about the behaviour of avocado flowers, my first thought was “How very ‘woke’”. Now, maybe I don’t fully understand that term, or maybe you’ve thought it to.

Sometimes we chose to farm. Sometimes farming choses us.
Either way, farmers inherently want to do their best; with results, with sustainability, with balance … but it’s a tight rope, a narrow line. And there’s SO much, outside of your control, that can either make or break the outcomes.

A Clean Slate; the best gift - an opportunity to drop the weight of the previous year and walk, light and energised, into the new.
A good point to relook at where we slacked and where we could have improved and to refocus our energy on that which matters.

For me, personally, it’s going to be a revealing year as I work hard to break boundaries and explore the ‘uncomfortable’; I’m betting it’s not as uncomfortable as I’ve imagined.
Part of that is taking TropicalBytes out in the sunshine (and rain) a lot more; by adding new features and sharing them more. My goal is that this helps farmers and allows us all to elevate the value of everything we do. To kick that off, I’ve made a short clip ‘introducing’ TropicalBytes. Enjoy. Follow. Like. Share.
