EThekwini Municipality is taking the Durban Business Fair to the south of Durban, at KwaMnyandu Shopping Centre from 2 to 4 October 2026, bringing markets, business support, skills development and networking opportunities closer to township and rural entrepreneurs.

The countdown is officially on! ✨🙌🏾
The 2026 Icebolethu Crown Gospel Awards have officially been launched in Durban, marking the beginning of the 19th edition of South Africa’s premier gospel music awards.
A major highlight of the launch was the announcement of Icebolethu Group as the official naming rights partner, ushering in a new era for the awards as they build towards a historic 20th edition in 2027.
This year’s theme, “Sound of Growth,” reflects the continued growth of gospel music and the awards’ commitment to celebrating excellence while restoring hope through faith-inspired music.
Executive Producer Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule paid tribute to the late Dr Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule, whose vision gave birth to the Crown Gospel Music Awards, saying:
“The Crowns are a brainchild of the visionary leadership that is my late wife, Zanele Mbokazi, a woman of excellence.”
Icebolethu Group CEO Nomfundo Mcoyi added:
“The Crowns are not for entertainment, they are here to restore hope. Let’s support and protect Black brands.”
The launch also featured a moving performance by gospel artist Sihle Khumalo.
