He currently resides in Durban, South Africa where he can be seen at numerous cinemas around the city catching the latest film releases! He also has served as media support for the Durban International Film Festival since 2013 and has been on the jury of the Durban Gay and Lesbian Film focusing on Feature Films. He has recently done reviews for the 2021 Durban International Film Festival and the 2020 and 2021 European Film Festival both held virtually. David has also done reviews for the 2021 Encounters Documentary Film Festival although as a Film Critic his main focus is on Feature Films. "Reservoir Dogs" and "Kill Bill" actor Michael Madsen has died at 67 years old.

His managers released the following statement: “In the last two years Michael Madsen has been doing some incredible work with independent film including upcoming feature films 'Resurrection Road,' 'Concessions' and 'Cookbook for Southern Housewives,' and was really looking forward to this next chapter in his life. Michael was also preparing to release a new book called 'Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems' currently being edited.Michael Madsen was one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors, who will be missed by many.”

David currently resides in Durban, South Africa where he can be seen at numerous cinemas around the city catching the latest film releases. He particularly likes excellent drama films, superhero movies, historical epics and science fiction. He does not do reviews for Horror or Animated Films. David is also fascinated in The History of Cinema and particularly of Feature Films and how they have evolved in the Digital Age. He also has served as media support for the Durban International Film Festival since 2013 and has been on the jury of the Durban Gay and Le***an Film focusing on Feature Films.
