Our little one is finally here 🤍
And these early days have been all about slow feeds, cuddles, and cozy moments.

So grateful to have the COZYfix feeding pillow🥰 and it’s been such a comfy little support during our newborn feeds.

Also feeling pretty special being the first mama in Durban to have one ✨🤏🏾🤏🏾 *clock it*

My water broke a few hours after swimming.😍

Since I’m full term with no complications, there’s no need for me to panic or “rush” to the hospital. 😅 I feel okay, and the baby is fine.

📌 Labor may not start immediately. It can take several hours—or even a day or two—for strong contractions to begin after your water breaks.

🤍 My body is prepared. I’m designed to manage this process, and calm, controlled movement is often better than a panic-induced rush.

Birth Plan Session

I really enjoyed this session, thanks to . It was so informative 👌🏾 I felt so empowered ✊🏾😍 I truly believe every pregnant woman deserves this.

Below, I’ve listed the four stages of labor that I learned during the session:

First Stage of Labor: Thinning (effacement) and opening (dilation) of the cervix
Second Stage of Labor: Your baby moves through the birth canal
Third Stage of Labor: Afterbirth
Fourth Stage of Labor: Recovery

⭕️ Remember, mamas, understanding your contractions is key! Know when it’s time to go to the hospital 😉
