Theposhavenue at Saxony Westwood Mall has just opened their second shop! You can find the new shop on the upper level right at the top of the escalators.

Day 13 of Sourdough Skelly 2.0 was time to make some labels for each storage jar so I don’t mix them up. I used my Cricut South Africa and it was so quick and easy! I love how the labels turned out!
Carry on with daily 100g discard
50g starter, 50g water, 50g flour feeding ratio.
Nearly time to bake the first bread 🥳

There are a few skincare products I’ll restock over and over when they run out and it was time to restock some of my favourites from Phytocare
It’s so convenient that they have a stand inside Posh Avenue Saxony Westwood Mall so I could just pop in and grab my products.
My top favourite is the Phyto Squalene it’s such a nourishing treatment that locks the moisture in.
And the Derma Luxe Cellular repair night cream - these 2 together are super nourishing and should get my dry skin back on track.
I’m also trying out the Silky Milk barrier repair so stay tuned for updates on what I think of that.

They supplied brownies for OFF THE RACK CLOTHING grand opening last week and saw how much I loved them!
So they dropped off this delicious PR hamper for us yesterday. All the flavours were delicious - Biscoff was my best and the boys loved the Oreo flavour.

After the horrible Nile Dinner Cruise in Cairo I was very hesitant to book another Nile experience.
I’m so glad I listened to the host at Bedouin lodge Luxor when he insisted we would love it!
I can’t remember exactly what we paid as it was over 2 months ago but I think it was around $60 for the 4 of us and included hotel pickup and drop off as well as Cooldrinks and water on the 2 hour boat trip. There were also dinner options - but we chose to eat back at the lodge - I will book a dinner option next time as Luxor is 100 times nicer than Cairo in every way so I know the dinner would be so nice here too!
If you find yourself in Luxor I recommend that you book a sunset felucca Nile cruise, sit back, relax and soak in the calm beauty of Luxor from the river.

We celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary last week. When the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra sent me an email congratulating us and including a gift of 2 tickets to the early Spring Season show plus a Park & Ride trip to and from the The Playhouse Company we were so excited! It felt like the proper “adult” way to celebrate this milestone 😉
And of course what date night out would be complete without a visit to one of our favourite restaurants! PONTO's was our top choice for the most delicious cocktails, our all time favourite starters and a new favourite for hubby - Tomahawk Ribeye Steak!
The meal was fantastic!

We attended a wellness morning this weekend at Motor Barn in Ballito.

We discovered a true hidden gem this week!
If you love Japanese food, Ramen, Dumplings, Crispy chicken and are looking for a restaurant that truly captures the flavours and vibes of a cosy Ramen bar in Japan - we found all that at RAMENDON
It’s in Gillits - but the food is worth the drive!
They are shop 18, 1 Clifton Rd Gillits - comment below and I’ll send you the Google pin for the exact location as it can be difficult to find them.
They also have a great mid week special R150 for a bowl of Ramen or Don (rice dish) plus a side! Their portions are generous and the prices so affordable!

We were hosted at Ramendon and we loved the food!
