Wing It DIY Not a tradesman. Not an expert. Just a guy forced into DIY after contractors nuked my budget. Now I’m winging it — and filming the chaos.

Foredog! back on site! 🐾

I built and installed a custom coat rail for the bedroom cupboard — no store‑bought brackets here. Watch how I cut, shape, and mount the rail while my furry supervisor makes sure everything’s done right.

The grinder slipped while I was sanding wood. I caught it, still dangerous. Added a few humour cuts, but the takeaway is real: always secure your wood before grinding.

A quick, upbeat recap of Episode 4 — cutting pine, changing plans, drilling, sanding, and prepping everything for the new drawer layout. Even my dog shows up, clearly not impressed with the noise.
Fast, loud, and full of progress.

Part 1 of Episode 4 — started by cutting pine in half for the drawer rails, then realised the height wasn’t going to work. Switched back to the original plan and cut/sanded the proper pieces instead. Also prepped some scrap wood for a shelf/divider idea I want to try later.
Steady progress, but important progress.
