This morning at 𝗔𝗿𝘂𝗽𝗲 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 🇿🇼 we continued the conversation on the 𝗘.𝗬.𝗘 𝗟𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 not as a device rollout, but as 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

Because the truth is this:
Access alone is not enough.
It’s that 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 changes outcomes.

We explored how institutions can:
✨ extend access beyond the first device
✨ align financing with real impact
✨ support students long after delivery
✨ build systems that can scale — responsibly

These awards honour the outstanding achievements of learners across Grade 7, Ordinary Level, and Advanced Level, a powerful reminder that talent, discipline, and determination are alive and thriving.

Recently we placed an 𝗘𝗬𝗘 𝗟𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗽 into the hands of a young woman studying at 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝗲 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗭𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘄𝗲 🇿🇼.

The 𝗘𝗬𝗘 𝗟𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 exists to close that gap, ensuring that students especially young women have the digital tools required to learn, research, and participate fully in the modern knowledge economy.

Sometimes meaningful impact begins with something simple: 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁.

In February, we stepped away from daily ex*****on to do something intentional:

Convened by our Founder, 𝗝𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗵 the EYE Foundation team gathered in Harare, Zimbabwe with our implementation partner, .advisory, to align strategy for the 𝐄𝐘𝐄 𝐋𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞.
