📊✨ Empowering Minds Through Maths!

An inspiring initiative by Ms Traugott , Mr Hamman (Grade Head) and the Tutor MrJamie Florus, a Forest Heights DUX Awardee with numerous Distinctions in the NSC exam, is transforming the way learners see Mathematics!
With the intervention of Jamie Florus, a passionate tutor, attendance to extra Maths classes has doubled after just one session! 👏

Why the extra classes? Learners have long faced challenges connecting Maths to the real world — from infrastructure to science, it’s everywhere! 🌍🔬 Thanks to this fresh approach, students are seeing the bigger picture and embracing the subject like never before.

What’s more? They’re showing up keenly every Saturday — and they leave hesitantly! 🙌📚

Here’s to changing perspectives and building stronger futures — one equation at a time! 💡

Forest Heights High School delivered a commanding performance in their recent rugby fixtures against Voorbrug High School, securing victories in both the Under-19 and Under-16 matches.

Under-19 Match: FHHS 38 – 0 Voorbrug
The Under-19 team showcased sheer dominance from the first whistle, delivering a clean sheet with a decisive 38–0 victory. The boys displayed excellent teamwork, discipline, and attacking flair throughout the game. Solid defence kept Voorbrug from scoring, while the forwards consistently won possession, allowing the backline to run in several well-executed tries. It was a performance that reflected hours of hard training and a hunger to finish the season strong.

Under-16 Match: FHHS 17 – 5 Voorbrug
The Under-16 side followed suit with a strong 17–5 win. It was a tighter contest, but FHHS’s determination and structure saw them pull ahead. The players kept their composure under pressure and managed to break through a resilient Voorbrug defence on multiple occasions. The team’s grit and growing confidence were evident, pointing to a promising future for FHHS rugby.

Well done to all our players and coaching staff for an exceptional display of sportsmanship and school pride. FHHS continues to rise—on and off the field! 🟢🟡
