WANTED POST ALERT

Mxolisi Khumalo borrowed R3 600 in June this year and promised to repay it the following month. Instead, he began ignoring the lady who helped him, avoided all communication, and eventually became rude when politely approached about the repayment.

What makes the situation worse is that he openly said he will never pay back the money.

We do not tolerate people who take advantage of others, especially those who work hard for every rand they earn. This is a call for Mxolisi Khumalo to come forward and fix this matter before it escalates further.

Anyone with information, please DM us confidentially.

WANTED POST ALERT

Emalahleni News 24/7 has received a complaint regarding Thulani Makhubo, who allegedly owes R11 587.50 to a former colleague.

According to the complainant, this issue dates back to July 2025, after years of borrowing and repaying without any problems. The trouble reportedly began when Thulani suddenly stopped returning the borrowed money and has been avoiding all follow-ups ever since.

The complainant explains that Thulani left their former workplace after securing another job, a detail that has been confirmed. Despite giving repeated promises every month, no payment has ever come through. Calls go unanswered, messages are ignored, and there has been no accountability from his side.

Since July, the victim says the suspect has been ignoring calls, leaving messages on blue tick, and showing no urgency to resolve the matter. The victim is currently unemployed and struggling during the festive season, making this delay especially difficult for her and her children.

The victim, who is currently unemployed and trying to support her children during the festive period, is deeply stressed and desperate for the funds owed to her.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Thulani Makhubo, or can assist in resolving this matter, is urged to contact Emalahleni News 24/7 so the issue can be addressed responsibly.

JUSTICE ALERT

Emalahleni, we need to address something deeply troubling that has been brought to our attention.

Over the past few weeks, a high number of women working in the night economy around French Street, Allenby Street and Plumer have reached out to us with the same complaint. They report that a certain individual has been recording them without their consent and allegedly sharing these videos on social media.

This behaviour is not only disrespectful, it is dangerous.

One of the victims was recognised by people from her hometown. Her family, who believed she was employed elsewhere, discovered her situation through these leaked videos. The humiliation and pressure pushed her to the edge, and she almost took her own life.

No matter your personal views on s*x work, these women are human beings before anything else. They deserve dignity, privacy and the right to feel safe while trying to survive. Nobody has the right to expose, shame or endanger another person’s life for entertainment.

To the individual responsible, this must stop immediately. Your actions have caused real damage and put people at risk. Do better. Respect people. Respect their lives.

And to our community, let us stand firmly against any behaviour that humiliates or endangers others. We can disagree on many things, but dignity is non-negotiable.

PERSON OF THE WEEK

Emalahleni, it’s that time again. We’re opening the floor for Person of the Week nominations once again.

If there is someone in your life who deserves to be celebrated, appreciated or recognised for something meaningful they’ve done, send us their name and their story in our DMs.

They don’t have to be famous, they just need to have made a real impact. A neighbour who helped the community, a young achiever, a hardworking parent, a dedicated volunteer, a silent hero, anyone who stands out for the right reasons.

Tell us who they are, what they’ve done and why you believe they should be our next Person of the Week.

Let’s shine a light on the people who make Emalahleni better.
