Clarity? How to Know When to Tweak, Pivot, or Persevere in Your Business.

Starting something new — whether it’s a business, a product, or a new direction — is exciting, but it also comes with a heavy dose of uncertainty.

This is where many of my clients get stuck.

One of the biggest early challenges is doubt:
“Is this the right niche?”
“Is my message landing?”
“Why isn’t anyone responding?”

And with that doubt comes a slippery slope: Should you change your message? Tweak your niche? Start over? Or just keep pushing forward?

If Your Office Could Talk… What Would It Say About Your Business?

When you’re working from home, your office isn’t just a desk—it’s where your ideas come to life, where you show up for clients, and where your business takes shape.

But is your home office in line with your vision?
Over time, I’ve learned that a few thoughtful tweaks to your home office and daily habits can make a huge difference in how you feel and show up for my business. Here are some of my favourite small-but-mighty practices:

✔️ Prep your lunch the night before – Save time and brainpower by avoiding the midday “what should I eat?” spiral.
✔️ Pack that lunch in a lunchbox – Sounds odd? It’s a lifesaver if you need to dash out for a client meeting—just grab and go.
✔️ Raise your screen to eye level – Better posture, less neck strain, and bonus desk space underneath.
✔️ Get your lighting right for video calls – Soft, natural light in front of you (not behind!) helps you look sharp and feel confident.
✔️ Keep healthy snacks and water within arm’s reach – Stabilise your blood sugar and avoid the post-lunch slump.
✔️ Use a refillable water bottle – It's easy to grab on the go and a gentle reminder to stay hydrated.
✔️ Dress the part—even at home – You don’t need heels or a blazer, but a shift out of PJs can do wonders for mindset and motivation.
✔️ Plan client calls on quieter days – Avoid clashing with noisy contractors, deliveries, or domestic chaos.
✔️ Set 'open' and 'closed' hours for your office in your diary – Clear boundaries protect both your focus and your family time.
✔️ Have a ‘start the day’ ritual – Whether it’s drinking a class of water, opening a window, or jotting down three priorities or doing some stretches—it signals your brain that it’s time to work.

It’s not about creating a picture-perfect office. It’s the little things that add up to clearer thinking, calmer days, and more confidence on the client side of the screen. It’s about setting yourself up to think clearly, work efficiently, and feel good doing it.

Turns out, it wasn’t my business plan that was the problem…
