Blompark-murder

Sergeant Abigail Naidoo, Communication Officer: Gansbaai SAPS, mentioned that they are still in a process of investigations and interviews regarding the brutal murder of Ricardo Tobias (30) on 24 March 2025 at the corner of Angelier- and Bloulelie Streets, Blompark. Gansbaai SAPS urged the community to join hands and assist to bring the perpetrators to justice. “Together we can make our community a better and safer place to live in,” she said. The Investigation Officer, Sergeant Wiesie can be contacted at 079 893 9972, or contact Sergeant Abigail Naidoo at 082 483 7400 with any information to assist in the investigation.

Goue Hande se 30 Goue Jare

‘Goue Hande’, die welbekende groep dames (en enkele manne) wat die hartklop van Herberg-aan-See (HaS) is, het op 25 Maart 2025 hulle 30ste verjaarsdag gevier. Dit was ‘n dankie-sê ontbyt in Riaan Franken se Blue Goose wat deur HaS se Beheerraad, met Riaan Franken as voorsitter en Marmara de Klerk as ondervoorsitter, gereël is. Sonder betaling en sonder enige voorbereidingswerk, het die groep dames vir ‘n slag by netjies-gedekte tafels ‘aangesit’ en is húlle dié keer bedien! Daar is behoorlik gekuier en ‘n vol (en groot!) ontbyt (voorgereg, hoofgereg en die smaaklikste kaaskoek as negereg) is geniet - sonder dat ‘n vinger vooraf gelig is. Al is dit teenstrydig met hierdie groep se normale harde en volgehoue werk ten bate van HaS, het hulle, te oordeel aan die oorverdowende geselsery, die welverdiende oggend terdeë geniet. Postbank is busy doing community outreaches this week to assist beneficiaries with changing their yellow SASSA card to the Postbank Black Cards.
• 2025/03/24: Hawston: Thusong Centre from 09:00 - 15:00
• 2025/03/25: Zwelihle Community Hall From 09:00 - 15:00
• 2025/03/26: Zwelihle Community Hall from 09:00 - 15:00
• 2025/03/27: Moffat Hall, Mount Pleasant from 09:00 - 15:00
• 2025/03/28: Blompark Hall, Gansbaai from 08:00 - 16:00
SASSA grant beneficiaries can also visit their bank or the nearest SASSA office to change their payment method to their bank account.

What to Bring:
• Proof of your bank account or a recent bank statement
• A copy of your ID (both sides)
• To streamline the process, ensure that the address on the bank statement matches the one on your SASSA grant record
• Please note, the bank account must be in your name, not your child’s name
