Pick of the litter & deposit explained
Deposit :
As a responsible breeder, one of my top priorities is having good homes lined up for my little ones as soon as possible. People have let me down too many times in the past, canceling at the last minute. I would then have to start the process all over again, in the meantime the little one is getting older day by day too. Paying a deposit is the only way I can be 100% sure that the puppy has a home. Please note that deposits are non refundable. This has never happened but if something should happen to the puppy while in my care, I will refund the deposit.
Pick of the litter:
Normally I go down my waiting list when the litter is born. Each little one gets a different colour collar. I start with the person who asked first, who has been on the list the longest. However sometimes someone would be 100% sure and insist on paying the deposit to secure them pick of the litter (no extra cost, you'll pay the same as all the others, basically you just pay your deposit early). Thus ensuring that they don't miss out and that they get to pick their tiny best friend first. Unfortunately not everyone on the waiting list is serious about actually getting a puppy. Others have secured a puppy two months before he/she was even born. There's one spot for pick of the litter on a boy and one for a girl, from each litter. Should it occur that there is no boy or no girl or for whatever the reason may be, there are no puppies, I will refund the deposit paid. But that has never happened. Of course, you are more than welcome to wait until the little ones are born.
What happens then? :
I send you weekly updates on how your baby is doing with photos etc. New puppy parents really enjoy being a part of the process right from the start, seeing their little one grow and change each week. The balance is payable before the little one leaves me at 8 weeks old. You are more than welcome to collect your baby from me yourself. If that's not possible, there are a few great pet couriers that will be able to transport the puppy for you. At your risk and expense. If there are two or three going to the same destination and if I don't have other pups to look after or a mum due soon etc, I sometimes deliver pups myself. New puppy parents then split my traveling expenses between them. Other times new puppy parents from the same area arrange amongst themselves for one of them to collect all the pups. I create a whatsapp group to make arrangements.
All my puppies are registered Frenchtons. Your puppy will be health checked by a Veterinarian Doctor, Microchipped, Registered, Wormed biweekly and his / her vaccines will be up to date. You will receive your puppy with his / her file containing the registration certificate, vaccine record card from the vet, microchip QR code collar tag and a Dezooks Puppy Contract as well as a super cute Dezooks branded puppy gift pack.
All pups are offered and registered as pet / companion only. No breeding rights will be given.
