Watch this Jackal catching a Green Centipede. Absolutely fascinating behavior. There was a flying-ant spawn and they were all over the road. I observed many creatures coming to eat them. The Centipedes were all over the road, literally 100's. The Jackals would jog along, find one and catch it. They did get biten a few times, was hilarious.

Has anyone ever seen Jackal do this. Do Centipedes eat Flying-ants ?

Nothing better than a pack of Painted Dogs sleeping on the Road 🤩

Guys there are only 450 in the whole park and they live in packs. Meaning there could only be +-20-40 packs.

It is very rare to see them and you should count yourself lucky if you do.

Mommy with Baby in the road 🐘
Give elephant herds a lot of space. Especially when they are going to the water or crossing the road. They can be very excited or stressed about the chaos and challenges of getting there. If there is ever an elephant ro respect it is a mother elephant.
You have been warned. Oh a speeding past elephants is not lekker. Drive slowly and calming they don't like aggression.

Tremendous skills leopards have. Not so for this young male leopard. He underestimated the strength of the small tree below and almost fell through it coming down😂

Beautiful moment in the Campsite at Mana Pools. Some of the most special sightings i have had have been right at camp. Look around and pay attention.

Imagine that falls 😂 did it ever cross your mind that the lodge and location you pick for your safari makes a massive difference on what you'll see. Not only with animals but the landscape too.

Guide to Kruger:
Hoedspruit - Kruger 90 minutes
Hazyview - 25 Phabeni or 50 Paul Kruger
Sabi Sands - Excellent big 5 sightings but less landscape opportunities.
Kruger - More opportunity for magnificent 8 less % cats but more landscapes and vegetation.

Watch this Terrapin and Crocodile coming very close to the car on the S44 near Olifants. I think people are feeding these animals because they were responding to movement in the car ..
