🚨 BODY NUMBER 8 DISCOVERED AS SAPS OFFERS R400,000 REWARD
EKURHULENI | 15 SEPTEMBER 2026 — The investigation into the deaths of women across Ekurhuleni has expanded to eight cases following the discovery of another body in Olifantsfontein.
Police have confirmed that the latest case has been included in the broader investigation as detectives work to establish whether there are links between the incidents.
According to information provided during a police briefing, the eight cases are spread across Kempton Park, Olifantsfontein and Kwa-Thema.

Acting National Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Puleng Dimpane confirmed that one person has been arrested in connection with one of the cases, involving victim number one.
Police are also pursuing a person of interest in relation to one of the Kempton Park cases.
Dimpane said identifying the victims remains an important part of the investigation, as this could assist detectives in following specific leads and establishing the circumstances surrounding each death.
💰 R400,000 REWARD FOR INFORMATION
SAPS has announced a R400,000 reward for information that could assist investigators and lead to arrests.
Police are appealing to members of the public, community organisations, motorists, security personnel and anyone with relevant information to come forward.
SAPS has stressed that the investigations remain ongoing and that links between the cases have not yet been conclusively established.
