It is with deep sadness that we at A2 Magazine extend our heartfelt condolences on the sudden passing of Dr Mark Opperman.

His unexpected departure has come as a great shock to all of us. Dr Opperman was a respected and valued member of the aesthetic community in South Africa — known not only for his exceptional talent and expertise, but also for his professionalism, and generous spirit.

He will be deeply missed by colleagues, friends, and all those whose lives he touched through his work and presence.

Our thoughts are with his family, loved ones, and everyone mourning this profound loss.

The event brought together remarkable women authors — Candice Preston, Karen Lazer, and Arja Salafranca — who shared how they turned their voices into the written word to inspire, challenge, and shape our communities.

It was a powerful afternoon that spoke to physical, emotional, and financial empowerment, leaving everyone uplifted.
