2025 VW T-Cross 1.0 TSI DSG Review

The refreshed T-Cross is small in size but big on confidence. With 85 kW and 200 Nm from its 1.0-litre turbo engine paired to a smooth 7-speed DSG, it feels refined, efficient, and perfect for city life.

The new look adds sharper LED lights, a fresh grille, and bold colours like Grape Yellow and Clear Blue Metallic(which is the one we have on test) definitely stands out more than before. Inside, it’s solid VW quality: digital cockpit, 8-inch infotainment, and all the modern driver aids you’d expect.

Performance: 0–100 km/h in about 10 s
Fuel use: Claimed 5.6 L/100 km,I managed 5.2 L/100 km on my test
Power meets practicality.

Price at R418,200.

The build quality, comfort, and resale value make this one of the most complete small SUVs on the market.

Would you pick the T-Cross over its rivals like the Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?
