Sometimes you have to walk alone to find yourself.

I used to be scared of being alone. I thought if I am alone, something is wrong with me. Now I sit by this lake and I realize — this peace is what I was searching for in crowded rooms.

I am learning to enjoy my own company. To hear my own thoughts. To love the girl in the mirror before I ask anyone else to love her.

Don't rush to fit in. Don't beg to be chosen. The right people will find you on your journey. The wrong ones will fall off like leaves in winter.

If you are in your alone season right now, don't fight it. Grow in it. You are becoming.

The hardest part of the climb is not the mountain, it is convincing yourself you can do it.

I cried on this trail. My legs were shaking. I wanted to turn back 3 times. My shoes were full of mud, the fog was so thick I could not see the top.

But I remembered why I started. I remembered the girl who was told she will never make it. I remembered Boksburg. I remembered all the nights I prayed for a better life.

Life will test you. People will leave you. Money will be tight. Dreams will feel far. But if you keep putting one foot in front of the other, even with a shaking leg and a walking stick, you WILL get there.

I am not a superwoman. I am just a girl who refused to quit. Even when my eyes were full of tears, I kept walking.

If you are in that hard place today — keep going. The fog will clear.

Every summit is just the beginning.

I thought when I reach the top I will be happy forever. But when I got there, I saw another mountain. And another. And another road winding into the sunset.

Life is not about finishing. It is about exploring. It is about walking even when you don't know where the road ends.

Don't wait to be happy when you get the job, the house, the love, the money. Be happy NOW, on this road, in the messy middle. That is where life really happens.

The sun is setting behind me but I am not scared of the dark. I have walked through darker days.

So keep going. Keep exploring. Keep loving. Your story is not over, it is just getting interesting. The best views are still ahead.

You are not late. You are not behind. Your path is just different.

For a long time I thought I failed because my friends were already working, already married, already settled. I was still climbing, still trying, still exploring.

But today on top of this mountain, with the sunrise on my face, I realized: The mountain does not compare itself to other mountains. It just stands tall and shines.

Your time is coming. The same sun that rises over this peak will rise over your life too. Keep climbing. Keep going. The view is worth it.
