The truth about solar systems that many people don't want to hear...
It's not always the installer's fault when a solar system develops problems!
As solar energy becomes more popular, I've seen all kinds of installations. some excellent, some fair, and some that make you wonder what happened. ๐
Yes, unqualified people are taking jobs meant for trained professionals, and that's a serious issue. But if we're being honest, sometimes the client is the real source of the problem.
A client will tell you, I only want to power three bulbs, two standing fans, and a laptop and a TV Based on that information, you recommend a suitable 1kVA system with a 220Ah 12V lithium battery.
A few weeks later, the same client has quietly connected four extra fans, two refrigerators, two air conditioners, three televisions, and somehow a welding machine has joined the party too. ๐๐
Then when the inverter finally gives up, guess who gets blamed? The installer, of course. Meanwhile, the real problem is someone trying to force a small system to do the work of a mini power station. ๐
Clients need to be honest about their actual power requirements. It's like hiding symptoms from a doctor and still expecting the correct treatment.
And please, somebody should help me ask Femi why he believes a 5000VA pure water" Chinese inverter can comfortably run a hotplate and a welding machine at the same time. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐
We are electricians, not magicians! ๐๐
Have you ever had a client lie about their actual load before?
