The truth about solar systems that many people don't want to hear...
It's not always the installer's fault when a solar system develops problems!
As solar energy becomes more popular, I've seen all kinds of installations. some excellent, some fair, and some that make you wonder what happened. 😅
Yes, unqualified people are taking jobs meant for trained professionals, and that's a serious issue. But if we're being honest, sometimes the client is the real source of the problem.
A client will tell you, I only want to power three bulbs, two standing fans, and a laptop and a TV Based on that information, you recommend a suitable 1kVA system with a 220Ah 12V lithium battery.
A few weeks later, the same client has quietly connected four extra fans, two refrigerators, two air conditioners, three televisions, and somehow a welding machine has joined the party too. 😒😒
Then when the inverter finally gives up, guess who gets blamed? The installer, of course. Meanwhile, the real problem is someone trying to force a small system to do the work of a mini power station. 😂
Clients need to be honest about their actual power requirements. It's like hiding symptoms from a doctor and still expecting the correct treatment.
And please, somebody should help me ask Femi why he believes a 5000VA pure water" Chinese inverter can comfortably run a hotplate and a welding machine at the same time. 🤣🤣😂
We are electricians, not magicians! 😏😏
