🚨 TRUCK HIJACKERS NABBED IN TEMBISA & MIDRAND! 🚨

Two suspects aged 36 & 37 thought they could outsmart the law — but the EMPD Eastern Region Task Team was two steps ahead! 👊💥

📍 Arrests were made in Porcelain Street, Midrand and Sithama Section, Tembisa after a truck hijacking on the R21 Olifantsfontein off-ramp earlier this week.

✅ Officers recovered stolen goods worth over R200 000 including law enforcement uniforms criminals were using to pose as cops! 🚔😡

The suspects are now behind bars at Tembisa & Midrand Police Stations and will soon appear in court to face Truck Hijacking & Possession of Stolen Goods charges.

🔥 Operation Shanela 2 has struck again! Police in Mpumalanga have taken down a massive crystal m**h lab worth R350 MILLION hidden on a farm in Volksrust.

👮🏾‍♂️ Acting Provincial Commissioner, Major General (Dr) Zeph Mkhwanazi, praised the hardworking officers who pounced on the suspects after a brave community member raised the alarm about a strange chemical smell coming from the farm.

What police found will shock you:
✅ Buckets & lunchboxes FULL of crystal m**h ❄️
✅ Freezers stacked with drugs worth hundreds of millions 💵
✅ Drug-making chemicals & equipment 🧪

Chaos erupted at Mooifontein Cemetery, Tembisa, when a taxi lost control and went straight into a big hole inside the graveyard 😳🚌💥.

Scores of people were left injured, screaming for help, while shocked mourners and onlookers watched the drama unfold right next to the graves.

⚠️ Shout out to the Emergency services & Taxi patrollers who came rushing in like heroes, helping the wounded and trying to bring order to the madness. 🙌

Last night, one of our fellow e-hailing drivers was hijacked after picking up a client request. As soon as the client got in, 3 armed men attacked with guns.

🙏 Thank God the driver is safe. Police recovered the vehicle a few hours later – but money, phones and bank cards were stolen.

⚠️ To all Bolt & Uber drivers: Please be extra cautious in the Florida & Fleurhof areas. These syndicates are targeting drivers during trip requests.
