SAUMA Awards is taking it up a notch! We're adding a music competition to the mix, with some awesome cash prizes:
- *1st Place*: R10,000 + Music Video,record deal + Award
- *2nd Place*: R5,000+Music Video, Record deal + Award
- *3rd Place*: R3,000 + complimentary prize
+Award
- *4th Place*: R2,000 + complimentary prize + Award

All finalists will receive complimentary prizes+awards, and the best part? Entrance is free! The South African Upcoming Musicians Awards (SAUMA) aims to recognize and promote upcoming musicians through workshops, events, awards, and radio exposure ¹ ².

Submissions will be opened February 2026, there will be eliminations during the year with more artists called to perfom to compete on stage to reach to the finals in December,this will grow musicians profile and Public Relations.
