Update:

There’s not been much writing done recently I’ll be honest. I’m kicking around a few ideas in my head currently, leaning in a more existential sci-fi direction these days.

I’ve got a story I started a while back that I’d like to refine. Honestly I’ve just been enjoying myself recently having just come back from an anniversary trip with my wife. Also work has been busy leaving my only time to write at the late nights when I am too tired to do anything except sit in front of a game for an hour.

As of now, that’s all she wrote.

I’ve been reading through Kent Wayne’s Echo series. It’s a kind of sci fi that goes very hard into the tiny details of the action. Can’t say I’ve ever read something like it before but it is very interesting. The world building is also top notch which is an A+ in my book.

Too Many Ideas – Writing Diary

Hi all! Mike here. I’ve been slowly plodding away with Icespire. I’d say chapter 1 is about 70% finished so that is something! Obviously the full thing is still a while off but hey. Otherwise I’ve been trying to write some more short stories - flash fiction and the like.
